How Donations Work

When you donate through MoreThanCharity, you choose a specific fundraiser or organization listed on the platform.

Payments are processed through our payment processor. Fundraisers and organizations that receive donations may be required to complete onboarding, identity verification, and payout setup before they can receive funds.

Each donation page identifies the intended recipient and the purpose of the fundraiser. Before donating, please review the page carefully.

Some fundraisers or organizations may not be eligible to receive payouts until required onboarding and verification steps are completed. In those cases, donations may be delayed, restricted, or refunded if the fundraiser cannot be completed in compliance with payment processing requirements or platform policies.

If MoreThanCharity identifies suspected fraud, unauthorized fundraising activity, or other violations of platform rules, we may freeze funds, delay payouts, cancel transactions where permitted, or issue refunds to donors.

Any platform fees will be disclosed before you complete payment.
